Walk Two Hundred and Sixty-Three – Daffodils in January!
A very quick drawing as Flo was walking with me and impatience is her middle name. I only had a black brush pen with me, so as daffodils demand the colour yellow I added some watercolour when I returned home. Extraordinary to see daffodils at this time – but that’s what you get for the mildest winter on record.

OH I LOVE THESE!!! DAFFS HERE IN NC ALSO!!! GREAT JOB ON THEM -- EVEN WITH A BLACK LINE RENDERING -- YOU'VE CREATED A SOFT, FLOWERY LOOK -- LOVE THEM!
Looks like a good long walk you did - daffodils already! and after our rain we have Spring bulbs shooting for a second go.
I am hearing every where that things are doing odd things. Here things are dying we havent had enough rain and water is getting lower so my orchard will just have to cope, although we may get a bit of rain tomorrw after another stinker of a day.Lovely to see daffodils.
I love the composition on this one and the colors! Beautiful. It is scaring me visiting blogs and seeing all the out of season growth and weird weather everywhere!
