ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!! Love the clouds and the fields!!! GREAT SCENE!
Glorious! A classic English scene (as in 'there'll always be an... .) This is SUCH a great series.
I think there really is nothing like an English summer in the country. All our wet and rain, mean that it feels so much more summery than hotter climes, when we have days like these.
Oh Julie, Love this one. Makes me feel like hiding my head in the mud!! Wonderful, fantastic what more can I say.
So glad you took the time. LOve this scene. YOur clouds! dry brush?
Sue I used masking fluid for some of the white (the little puffs of cumulus and the wisps of cirrus), ran a wash over everything and then worked more blue detail in to make the wisps more wispy so some of it was a bit dry brush-ish. I'm a bit of a purist about NOT using white but I'm beginning to think maybe I should re-consider
Lovely painting Julie!
Glad you like it Katherine
