Walk Two Hundred and Ninety-One – No name woods

nonamewoods
This is the view across the valley from the track up to the Bluebell Woods. I don’t know the name of the woods you can see here – there’s nothing on the ordnance survey map. From my walks through it I could call it ‘Lost Camera Woods’ or ‘Falling Tree Woods’, though I rather like ‘No Name Woods’.

Snow one day and green fields the next. Better than brown although it is drizzly and cold today and i lie, we do have a tinge of green from the big rain last month.

What a green and pleasant land you live in! We are certainly in a sunburnt country here though we had a bit of rain this weekend and the grass is actually green.
Do you paint on the spot Julie, or do a pencil or pastel colour pic and then paint at home? I don't take paints outside at all, maybe I should at times.

Penny - perfect snow - a couple of days of fun and quickly melting away.
Wendy I paint on the spot, often standing, though occasionally I take a fold up stool and spend a bit more time on it.
