Walk Two Hundred and Seventy-Seven – Grey day

greyday
All the men in the family, apart from Xavier, were off getting themselves a VHF radio operating licence today. Flo was doing homework and so to give her a bit of peace, Xavier and I went off for a walk and had fun clambering over the newly- fallen trees in the Bluebell Wood.

200mm x 145mm in pencil and watercolour in cartridge sketchbook

Lots of love from Susan in Australia

What a grey looking day Julie, I hope things are calming down a bit, I dont know how you do all that you do. Thinking of you this morning as we had a grey but not very cold morning too.

Julie, this One Mile from Home sketchbook was such a great idea of yours! I never miss a day of coming to see what you've seen and done. I think these sketches would make a fantastic book.
In case my name doesn't link properly---this is Laur(elines.)

I'm so glad that you're venturing out Susan. Penny, it's dismal at the moment – so few daylight hours.
Laura, thank you. I'd consider self-publishing for friends and family, I think the problem though is that a full colour book is so much more expensive to produce - I should've had a bit of foresight and stuck to black and white drawings!

Such a wonderful sense of space in this one and I love the clouds and bird flock.
