MY CHALLENGE.
Walk a minimum of one mile from home. Record where you’ve been with a drawing, sculpture, photo or painting and then walk back. Every day for a year.
Please add comments — I really enjoy the feedback. And if you want to join in with the ONE MILE FROM HOME challenge let me know and I’ll add you to the blogroll
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here please send an email to myfirstname at julieoakleydesign dot com

Aah cool! Somebody must be really missing these. Glad to hear you're feeling better!
Glad you are feeling better, sorry you had to eat the yucky. I like those boots, fun kid colors.
I would have sketched these too, if I saw them. Lovely sketch.
I'm thinking I ought to pick them up and find out if the lady who used to run the welly-boot exchange is still doing her worthy work. (You brought in one pair of kids boots and exchanged them for another second-hand pair as they grew out of them, to keep costs down).
Alison – definitely your sort of subject matter!
Those boots were made for walkin! Hey, I'd love to have them to wear to church and play the organ with huge feet to play ten notes at a time and make the organ thunder! (I sometimes have to take off my shoes to play.)
Actually, no wonder someone chucked them outa a car.

I'm always amazed at how diverse your subjects are! Love the boots! I wonder if you will continue your painting/drawing a day and the walking after the year is up?
