Walk Ninety – My chatty Dad

pondpeople

I drew Daddy and Sally from the other side of the now very dried up pond. Rufus did his hippopotamus impression and came home covered in a layer of evil-smelling mud.
I know I’m going to be like this when I’m old – my Dad is instigating a conversation with dog-walking Rosemary who he’s never met before.

I love the idea of the evil smelling hippopotomus Rufus and I'm going to be a chatter-upper too - same as my Mum. Great sketch.

Dear Julie,
I must try this project of walking each day to find something to draw on the way. Within 2 k I could find salt-pans, a botanical garden, golf course, an Animal Health Laboratory where horrible micro-organisms are investigated as well as all these houses with fences between them. Waiting for a bit of sunshine though. It's cool - about 11 degrees and winter.
Thinking of you today in Ireland - may God bless your family today.
W.
