Walk Three Hundred and Fifty-One – Rape field

morerapefields
A warm hazy day, and the same walk as yesterday but without the little Emperor, so much easier to focus on finding a pleasing composition.

Beautiful rich colors! I don't know if I'll be able to take the time to paint but I have joined the walking club, with 2 - 3 mi. a day. It feels so GOOD I don't want to stop. But if I stop to sketch with Ripley in tow I'll probably stiffen up and limp the whole way home. But I can take a picture a day on my walk and paint later ...
Congrats for being an inspiration to us former-sedentarians ... K.

Karen, I might be joining you on the photo-walking club when this year is over, so I can fit in more miles.
Thank you Lin and Robin

Gorgeous pic. Is this rape seed crop? We call it Canola these days and there are (apart from the drought) usually lots of canola fields for ever over here in Victoria.
