MY CHALLENGE.
Walk a minimum of one mile from home. Record where you’ve been with a drawing, sculpture, photo or painting and then walk back. Every day for a year.
Please add comments — I really enjoy the feedback. And if you want to join in with the ONE MILE FROM HOME challenge let me know and I’ll add you to the blogroll
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here please send an email to myfirstname at julieoakleydesign dot com

i wondered what the pattern on the cow was, until i realised they are transparent cows! That's a good effect actually. Maybe they are ghosts of all the cows killed in 01? This is great, I really love the colours. I hear it's been nice in england lately.
I always love your cows and the transparency of these ones adds to the interest in a delightful way.
Pete don't remind me of the awfulness of that year! The weather has been incredibly warm this autumn - my husband insists it's global warming doing it.
Alison, it's amazing how fast they change position - they look so slow and ponderous but as soon as you put a mark on the paper they've moved
Whoops - just realised I posted twice. Thank you for your nice comments Tami and Lindsay - which I'm afraid will have to disappear as I delete one of these superfluous posts
