The same walk as yesterday, drawn from slightly further on. As I ran past in the rain yesterday I noticed the slice of yellow field behind the twin trunked tree and resolved to paint it before the fields change colours.
Julie, you're inspiring me to try my hand at landscape. (I get fixated on individual objects.) I'm glad you returned to capture this colour contrast.
I hope your 20 days of walking are paying health and well-being benefits already. (I would enquire about the state of your blogger's bum but that would appear indelicate!)
Walk a minimum of one mile from home. Record where you’ve been with a drawing, sculpture, photo or painting and then walk back. Every day for a year.
Please add comments — I really enjoy the feedback. And if you want to join in with the ONE MILE FROM HOME challenge let me know and I’ll add you to the blogroll
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here please send an email to myfirstname at julieoakleydesign dot com

I can´t follow your walks, but I am following your drawings. Beautifull they are!
Yep, take advantage of the amazing yellow/green contrast while it's there.
