Walk Two Hundred and Thirty-One – Better weather
The day started with a frost, but there were patches of blue sky and no rain. Gosh I am so unfit – I am shattered from all the walking, shopping and pushing a heavy pushchair through bridle paths thick with sticky mud – I’ve included a map so you can see all my to-ing and fro-ing.

Oh GOD that is a lot of to and fro-ing! I'd be destroyed, too, utterly!
But I love the sketches you've produced the last two days in spite of all...
I HATE spiral bound sketchbooks - the spiral always seems to come unwound which makes the paper start to ruck up closely followed by the spiral getting caught in absolutely everything! They should be banned!
Nice to see the maps back.
It does look like a lot of running about. I hope your car gets fixed soon. Lovely feel of distance in this one.
Kate I feel pathetic that it wears me out so much – I mean what did people do before cars?
Katherine – the maps haven't featured so much because very often it's been the same walk or because they take a bit of extra time which I don't always have.
Alison looks as though I'll have the car. for Friday and the weekend
But Julie, just think how fit you have become. It looks so lovely your little painting.Glad the car will be back soon.
I'm guessing it was making you walk a lot more than a mile! I'm glad to hear your car will be back soon...still, I'm enjoying your drawings just as much as ever, just groaning with sympathy. ;-)
Wow, your to-ing and fro-ing on the map looks quite intense! I think of walking to destinations as a treat to do once in a while. If I had to do it all the time I'd never get anything done (except walking). I loved your litte aside about the "irritating" spiral bound notebook. I don't mind my Aquabees but the rest irritate me too.
